【CIII EXPO】Blue Book of Intelligent Talents for Chongqing Big Data 2020 released by CQUPT

     A new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation led by big data and artificial intelligence is in the ascendant. At present, our city is actively implementing the innovation-driven development action plan led by “Big Data Intelligence”, cultivating core intelligent industries such as big data, AI, IoT, block-chain, and so on, so as to promote the quality, efficiency and dynamic changes of the economy. Talent is the first resource, the first capital and the first driving force. The essence of innovation driven is talent driven. The key to economic transformation and structural adjustment is talent support.

     On September 17th, CQUPT issued Blue Book of Intelligent Talents for Chongqing Big Data 2020. This book uses data mining, text analysis and statistical analysis first to summarize the status quo of big data intelligent industry and the current situation of talents in Chongqing, and then to make more extensive and in-depth analysis of the intelligent talents of big data in Chongqing from the aspects of talent supply structure, business distribution, regional distribution, demand post and professional conversion. From the perspective of talents, it is close to the theme of CIII EXPO: “Intelligence: empowering economy and enriching life”, aiming to help the majority of young talents master the current market demand, to provide references for relevant universities and enterprises in Chongqing to improve the balance of talent supply and demand, and to provide decision-making basis for relevant governmental departments to formulate industry and talent policies.

     The blue book comprehensively and objectively reflects the development status and demand characteristics of “big data intelligent” talents in Chongqing. It finds that there are some urgent problems in the supply and demand of the “big data intelligent” talents, such as the matching deviation between the supply and demand, and the unbalanced and insufficient regional development. It also puts forward the important measures for the development of the “big data intelligent” talents, and provides policy basis and decision references for relevant governmental departments.
