CQUPT Has a Good Performance in Modulation Electronic System Design Special Invitational Contest of National Undergraduate Electronic Design Competition 2020
From 17th to 21st, 2020, Analog Electronic System Design Special Invitational Contest of National Undergraduate Electronic Design Competition 2020 (IT Cup) was held in Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Our university’s two teams invited to participate in the competition won the national first prize and second prize respectively, ranking second in the medal list.
The Modulation Invitational Contest is a closed proposition competition. During the contest, all teams are not allowed to have any information exchange with the outside world. The contest questions are released on the contest site and students are required to complete the design, production and debugging of the selected questions within 36 hours. According to experts’ evaluation, the team of Yan Bowen, Zheng Kunpeng and Yan Jun from School of Optoelectronic Engineering/School of Chongqing International Semiconductor Technology won the national first prize for Question A “Single Signal Period Reproduction Device”; and Question B “Multiple Amplitude Modulation Signal Generation Circuit” completed by Wang Wenzheng, Huang Dianchun and Chen Hang from School of Communication Engineering won the national second prize.
This Invitational Contest has brought together 91 teams from 48 universities in China. After being tested by the expert group and approved by the Competition Organizing Committee, 6 first prizes, 16 second prizes and 26 third prizes were selected. The invited students are from University of Electronic Science and Technology, Xi’an University of Electronic Science and Technology, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Xi’an Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University, Southeast University, Nanjing University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Wuhan University, and other universities with advantages and characteristics in the field of electronic information or electrical engineering.
