On October 17th, a grand science and technology award conference was held in Chongqing. Chen Miner, secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, attended the conference and presented awards to the winning representatives. Tang Liangzhi, deputy secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and mayor, addressed the conference on behalf of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal People’s Government. Ren Xuefeng, deputy secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, presided over the conference.Xu Guanghong, vice president of CQUPT, the head of Science and Technology Department and some award-winning representatives attended the conference.
In 2018, a total of 152 achievements of Chongqing Science and Technology Awards were awarded, including 25 natural science awards, 5 technology invention awards and 152 science and technology progress awards.
CQUPT has won 3 first prizes for scientific and technological progress, 1 second prize for technological invention, 4 second prizes for scientific and technological progress, 1 third prize for natural science and 5 third prizes for scientific and technological progress, totaling 14. The number of awards reached a new high, winning the first prize of Chongqing Science and Technology for many years in a row.It fully reflects the significant improvement of scientific and technological innovation ability of CQUPT, and marks the significant enhancement of scientific research strength and level in CQUPT. It is the result of our university’s adhering to scientific and technological innovation, attaching great importance to independent innovation, and actively promoting the cooperation between production, teaching and research.
The achievement of “R & D and Application of Key Technologies of Efficient Data Transmission for Smart Grid” led by Professor Wu Dapeng won the first prize of Chongqing Science and Technology Progress Award.This achievement studies the efficient data collection and transmission technology. In the aspects of system architecture, environmental characteristics, and application requirements, combined with the power grid operation, protection automation, power consumption information collection and other power business requirements, it overcomes the key technical problems such as dynamic incremental networking, multi-level data fusion, light and fast convergence, and on-demand connection reconstruction, and forms a perfect intellectual property body. The system has realized a controllable, manageable and reliable power information system, which has played a positive role in improving the operation efficiency and service quality of the smart grid and promoting the implementation of the national green energy strategy. Ithas won 26 national invention patents and 1 industry standard. The application scope covers Chongqing, Ningxia, Liaoning and other provinces, and has achieved significant social and economic benefits, greatly improving the intelligent level of China’s power information system.
