South Korea’s Jeollabuk-do Chinese and Korean Students (Chongqing) Exchange Center Is Established in CQUPT

On the afternoon of August 27th, Li Yuanze, Deputy   Governor of Jeollabuk-do, South Korea, Cui Yongkui, Chairman of the   Jeollabuk-do Parliamentary Education Committee, Li Shiyu, Director of the   International Committee of Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, and Li   Lin, the Party Secretary and President of CQUPT, jointly unveiled the plague   of South Korea’s Jeollabuk-do Chinese and Korean   Students(Chongqing)Exchange Center in Chongqing.

At the ceremony of unveiling the plague, Li Lin   introduced the situation of running university that since oue university   launched the exchanges and cooperation between China and South Korea in 1994,   it hadestablished a long-term substantive cooperative relationship with more   than ten universities including Inha University, Korea Science and Technology   Institute, Dankook University, and Incheon University, and enterprises   including KT, SK, and Altibase, having recruited about 500 long-term and   short-term Korean students. Ouruniversity attaches great importance to   reach cooperation with Jeollabuk-do in South Korea. In 2019, it signed an   educational cooperation agreement with the Jeollabuk-do Talent Development   Foundation and KunsanNational University. He hoped to set up the Chongqing Exchange Center for the Chinese and   Korean students, to further steer exchanges and cooperation between the two   sides to a new height, to constantly increase mutual understanding and   friendship, to lay a more smooth cooperation channel, and to expand more   areas ofcooperation.

In his speech, Li Yuanze   introduced the international exchanges and cooperation between Jeollabuk-do   and China, especially Chongqing. He pointed out that Jeollabuk-do would start from the establishment   of the Chongqing Exchange Center and focus on CQUPT to strengthen and expand communication and   cooperation with Chongqing. Cui Yongkui said that this would be used as an opportunity to   actively promote educational cooperation between Jeollabuk-do and Chongqing   universities.
