CQUPT’s 13th Track and Field Sports Meet Closes Successfully

After two days of fierce competitions and successful completion of various competition tasks, CQUPT’s 13th Track and Field Sports Meet came to an end in Taiji Playground on the afternoon of April 20. University leaders Lin Jinzhao, Lv Yi, Tao Yuxiang, and Chen Qianbin attended the closing ceremony and presented awards to the winning teams. The ceremony was hosted by Vice President Lin Jinzhao.

In the two days of competition, upholding the sports spirit of “faster, higher, stronger”, more than 1,000 teachers and students from all organizations of our university made strenuous efforts to achieve success. After fierce competitions, in the student group School of Communication and Information Engineering and Institute of Physical Education ranked first in total weight of team, School of Computer Science and Technology, School of Economics and Management and School of Modern Post, School of Optoelectronic Engineering and International Semiconductor Institute, School of Automation, Graduate School, School of Media and Arts, and International College ranked second to eighth respectively; in the staff group, the first place in total weight of team was awarded by School of Optoelectronic Engineering and International Semiconductor Institute, and the second to eighth places were Office, School of Communication and Information Engineering, School of Science, Infrastructure Logistics Service, School of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, School of Automation, and Science and Technology Federation.

Student teams from School of Economics and Management and School of Modern Post won the title of “Spiritual Civilization Sports Team”, the staff team from Office won the title of “Sports Morality Award”, and teams from School of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, School of Foreign Language, School of Biological Information and School of Cyber Security and Information Law won the title of “Excellence Organization Award”.
