From November 14th to 18th, the final of the 15th “Challenge Cup” National College Student Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition was held in Shanghai University. CQUPT team led by Deputy Party Secretary You Minhui attended the competition.
Of six entries of our university, Low-energy 2D Walker Based on Passive Walking and Dynamic Control won the national second prizes, and the rest won the third prizes. Meanwhile, in Chongqing Final of the 15th “Challenge Cup” National College Student Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition in June this year, our university got 6 grand prizes, 5 first prizes, 6 second prizes and 1 third prize. In addition, our university, with regard to award grade, quantity and total score, ranked the first among municipal colleges and universities of Chongqing in the national and municipal competitions.
The 15th “Challenge Cup” National College Student Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition was sponsored by the Central Committee of the Communist Young League, China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), Ministry of Education, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the National Association of Students and Shanghai Municipal People’s Government. This competition attracted more than 2 million students from over 2000 universities, and the number of projects reached about 600,000, of which 755 works from 314 universities were chosen for the finals after provincial competition, national preliminary evaluation and review.
