Results of National College Students Connected Smarter System Innovation Competition Are Revealed and Students of CQUPT Win One First Prize and Two Third Prizes
On the morning of August 19th, the finals of the National College Students Connected Smarter System Innovation Competition 2017 was successfully concluded in our university. After a fierce competition, 82 teams that participated in the contest from China’s 46 universities brought home many prizes, including 16 first prizes, 24 second prizes, and 39 third prizes, of which 3 first prizes won the Enterprise Innovation Awards.
Three teams of our university got to the national finals, having won one first prize and two third prizes. In the Smart Medical Group, “Aided Drug System” project was awarded the first prize; in the Smart Home Group, “Smart Housekeeper” and “Intelligent Card Searching Management System” were awarded the third prizes

Liu Mingliang delivered a closing speech to congratulate the complete success of this competition, and contestants on their outstanding achievements. He also expressed his gratitude for the active participation of teams, the diligent work of experts, and the strong support of universities and enterprises. He pointed out that National College Students Connected Smarter System Innovation Competition was forward-looking and had a high degree of engagement with the current smart industry; he hoped that universities and industries could seize the opportunity to promote the development of the smart Internet industry and technological innovation; he said that this competition would provide both more channels for the selection of outstanding talents in the industry and more accesses for them to the intelligent interconnec
tion industry, and meanwhile it would facilitate outstanding entries to be developed and applied in the industry.
Professor Chen Heming made a summary of the national finals, analyzing the competition process, pre-competition preparation, competition review, competition result, successful experiences, and existing problems in detail.

At the prize-awarding ceremony, leaders, reviewing experts and enterprise representatives who attended the ceremony presented the award to the winning teams.
After the closing ceremony, the first-prize entries were displayed in the lobby of Yifu Science and Technology Building. Focusing on National College Students Connected Smarter System Innovation Competition, school-enterprise cooperation and industrial development, media in and out of Chongqing, including Chongqing Daily, Chongqing TV Station, Xinhua News, China News, CQNEWS and EEPW, interviewed the host, organizers and co-sponsors of this competition.
