The First Sino-Korea Interscholastic Cooperative Seminar Is Held Smoothly in Our University
On December 15th, 2016, the First Sino-Korea Interscholastic Cooperative Seminar was held smoothly in our University. Heads of international offices and project supervisors from Inha University, Dankook University and University of Incheon were all present at the seminar. Attendees of our university were Vice President Chen Qianbin and some related personnel of Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges, School of Postgraduate, Department of Science & Technology and School of Computer Science and Technology.
Vice President Chen Qianbin extended a warm welcome for Korean guests. He also expressed heartfelt thanks to every head of international offices of three Korean universities for their promotion of friendly and cooperative relations as well as assistance and support of communication between teachers and students. Meanwhile, Chen stated the status quo of cooperation and his wish to expand the new ground of cooperation.
At the seminar, representatives were engaged in a heated discussion on exchanges among students and between teachers and students and in research cooperation. They reached a consensus on issues like programs of jointly training doctoral and postgraduate students, exchanges, interflow of teachers, and applying themselves to put every item into practice.
It was reported that our university annually offered opportunities for over 60 teachers and students to study and exchange in Korea over the years, and meanwhile received almost 30 teachers and students from Korea. Currently, there have been 4 Sino-Korea scientific research institutions in our university. Later, delegations of Korean Universities and heads of Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges and International School attended the symposium of exchange students.
